Our 2009 Anti-Virus Member Poll is in the books and some things remained the same, some didn't.

AVG and AVAST! were once again the top votes, however the clear favorite this year with 182 votes (27.7%) was:

Avast! Antivirus Home Edition - followed by:

AVG Anti-Virus Free with 102 votes (15.5%).

Rounding out the Top 10 were:

AntiVir/Avira with 81 votes (12.3%)
Eset Nod32 with 80 votes (12.2%)
KAV with 45 votes (6.8%)
Norton AntiVirus 2009 with 40 votes (6.1%)
McAfee with 23 votes (3.5%)
NAV/SAV with 18 votes (2.7%)
"None" accounted for a surprising 22 votes (3.3%), which was a significant increase over last year's 5 votes (0.9%)

"Other" garnered 48 votes or (7.3%) with the top 5 selections being:

Windows Live OneCare*
*It's been reported that some incompatibility issues have been noted when used under the new "Windows 7 beta"
