The results of our 2009 Members Choice Poll for DVD Copying Software are in. May I have the envelope please...?
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, and AnyDVD (Slysoft) once again took the first three spots in our poll, although AnyDVD (Slysoft) overtook DVD Decrypter landing in the second spot this year. DVDFab (Platinum/Express/Gold) and its free sister, DVDFab HD Decrypter (Free) from dvdidle.com round out the top five with CloneDVD 2(Slysoft) and Nero 8 Ultra/Nero Recode following close behind.
Linux fans choose K3b and K9Copy, while our Mac members voted for HandBrake (Mac) as their top choice.
Other results include: 16 voters (4.1%) who said they backup to single-layer DVD, 14 voters (3.6%) use something other that what was listed and 13 (3.3%) use more than one solution. One each said they backup to HD DVD and Blu-Ray. Only 13 voters (1.8%) this year chose "What's A DVD?", down from 21 last year.
