The results for the 2009 Remote Access Programs show that the most used program is Logme in. It won by a plurality of 18% as opposed to 21% in the previous year. The 2nd most used was Windows Remote Desktop with 16% of users using it (last year's poll did not include this). Next in line (after none), just like the previous year, are UltraVNC and realVNC attracting 9% and 7% of users respectively.
Notably, 15% of users do not use this type of software whereas last year 18% of users did not use this software. Most likely due to the increase in monitor thefts in the home.
Other software that was missed in the poll included: Dameware with 3 votes, gbridge with 1 vote Go to assist with 1 vote
