Wikipedia defines a file archiver as a computer program that combines a number of files together into one archive file, or a series of archive files, for easier transportation or storage.
Many file archivers use lossless data compression in order to reduce the archive's size. With Compression Utilities you can Unzip archives and create compressed files.

In our 2009 Compression Utilities Member Choice Poll, we had 223 participants, with 373 total votes tallied.

WinRAR again stole the show with 32% of the vote!

2nd runner up was 7-Zip with almost 22%
3rd choice was WinZip with nearly 12% of members choosing it as their application
