The results of our 2011 Members Choice Poll for DVD Copying Software are in. May I have the envelope please?

This year we have a new winner. SlySoft CloneDVD 2
took over the top spot from DVD Shrink which did not make one of the top three spots for the first time in our poll.

Out top five spots this year goes to:

1. SlySoft ANYDVD HD
2. Ashampoo Burning Studio 10
2. ImgBurn
2. SlySoft ANYDVD HD, and elby CloneDVD 2®
5. DVDFab DVD Copy 8.0.8.5

Please note the when we combine CloneDVD2 form SlySoft and CloneDVD from elby which is basically the same product we have a three way tie for second place!

Never before has the voting been so close. May I also give an honorable mention to the longtime favorite, DVDShrink. Although Shrink didn’t crack the top this year it still had enough votes to get a sixth place finish showing that free still carries a lot of weight.

Linux fans choose K9 Copy (Linux) while our Mac members voted for Hand Brake and Toast 3.5 as their top choice.

Other results include: ConvertXtoDVD and DVD Decrypter which both just missed the top 5. We had 5% which said they use something other than what was listed and 25% use more than one solution.

No one this year asked "What's A DVD?", down from 13 from our last poll.
