Most (but not all) download streams failed to start. If you have a poor internet connection change the number of streams to "1" in the preferences page for both up and down. If you are on a very high speed connection, and/or have set a large number of download streams. Try with 1 stream, and if that works, try 4 and so on. The other possibility is the usual problem: security, anti-virus or privacy extensions that just break things. Try temporarily disabling them. It is possible your browser is unable to reach port 8080. Can you reach this page? http://castor.dslreports.com:8080 (it should be blank but with a short message at the top).
