Viewing your connection speed in the AOL client (#2787)
To view your connection speed in bps (bits per second), connect to AOL through any method. Click on Help in the menu, and then click on About America Online. Hold down your control key and press 'y'. You will find your AOL client speed under Current Connection Speed (bps). Speed may be faster than reported using native Internet Explorer. Keep in mind this "estimate" is sometimes inaccurate.
