Simply put, no. A 10Mbps or a 100Mbps NIC (Network Interface Card) will not make a noticeable difference in your speeds, because this is the NIC's speed and not the speed of your Internet connection. However, if your line is faster than 10Mbps (very rare), then you will need a 100Mbps NIC. Feedback received on this FAQ entry:
