You'll have to load Enternet300 version 1.5c to see the modem' line data, since the Windows XP PPPoE client can't get at that, and the only other way is via telnet (which Efficient Networks has conveniently disabled in newer modems).
You can get a free 30-day evaluation copy of Enternet300 1.5c via this link, and as long as your XP PPPoE client doesn't automatically start you shouldn't have to change anything else on your machine to use it.
