What's all this I hear about 'ladders'? (#4494)
Some people say that there is a certain 'ladder' you have to 'climb' on IRC. This FAQ entry is designed to shed more light on this. Most channels have XDCC Bots that are open to almost anyone that joins the channel. You have to do nothing in return for this. However, the channel needs to grow. The goal of a channel OP is to make his/her channel the largest (or one of the largest) on the network. Most of the time, they will have a recruit channel open. In order to get dump access, you can serve or contribute to the channel in another way. feedback form by removed
