CAYMAN 6.3.0RX SETTINGS FOR BELLSOUTH

**NOTE** These settings are to help you set up your Cayman 3220-H, 3546 or 3547W from Factory Default to BELLSOUTH FASTACCESS INTERNET SERVICE. If you have purchased a Cayman from a Company or Individual (Previous Owner) other than Bellsouth Fastaccess, you may want to start by clearing the Configurations back to the Factory Defaults. This will clear out any old settings and allow you to start fresh!

LOGIN

Login into the Cayman via your browser by typing in http://192.168.1.254 in the Address bar and clicking goYou will need to login with
USERNAME : Admin

At the top click Configure

You will need to Configure the following items displayed for Bellsouth

QUICKSTART
WAN


QUICKSTART

On menu select
Quickstart--- You will need to add your FastAccess Username(with the
@bellsouth.net at the end) and FastAccess Password here and click the Submit button.


**Now you will see a little Alarm symbol in the top right corner IGNORE it for now!!

Good, we are done with Quickstart..

WAN

Click on Configure > WAN > ATM


Configure the following items:
VPI- 8
VCI- 35
Encapsulation- PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) or PPP over ATM (PPPoA) (either will work with BellSouth)
MultiplexingLLC/SNAP or VC muxed (either will work with BellSouth)

*Note: The only combination that will not work is PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) with VC muxed.

If you had to make any changes, click the Submit Button.
If the Yellow Icon pops up in the top right hand corner, Ignore it for now.

Click on WAN



In the Wan IP Interfaces Box, click on your Encapsulation.



The default settings in this window will work fine with the exception of Restrictions.

Restrictions should be set to Admin-Disabled

Click on the Submit Button if you had to make any changes.

Now, Click on Yellow Icon in the Top Right Hand corner of the screen.



Click on Save and Restart

You're Done!
