As some of you already know, Windows 2000 and Windows XP have a little annoying feature that can complicate a lot of people. This feature is "Automatically Reboot", it's located under the System Failure section of the Startup and Recovery tab. To disable it, go to your control panel, double click on System, select the Advanced tab, select Startup And Recovery, and under System Failure, uncheck "Automatically Reboot". This can cause a lot of confusion. What this does is, instead of displaying a BSOD(Blue screen of death), it will automatically reboot your computer. It is always best to disable that option, for troubleshooting purposes. If you are still having problems turning it off, here is a video I made to help you
