In XP (and 2k for that matter) it's called "chkdsk" and it can still be accessed by right-clicking a drive in My Computer and choosing the Tools tab. If you use the NTFS file system, it is not necessary to use chkdisk since it is a journaling file system and keeps track of everything that happens to the drive. got feedback? by redxii edited by slash |
