Launch an internet browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc) and type »launchmodem or »192.168.1.254 in the URL address field as shown below. IMPORTANT NOTE: You will not be able to access the Westell interface if it is connected in conjunction with another router. Routers can not forward a local 192.168.xxx.xxx address to another network device. There are several ways around this problem but they usually involve extra equipment, a major configuration change, or requires you to utilize the router as a simple switch. You can either run the Westell directly to a computer NIC or through a hub/switch to gain access. Click here for more information.
