4 letters: SNMP
SNMP is the Internet standard protocol developed to manage nodes (servers, workstations, routers, switches and hubs etc.) on an IP network. SNMP enables network administrators to manage network performance, find and solve network problems, and plan for network growth.

ISP's usually disable SNMP.
Now, they don't disable it COMPLETELY, they just disable it from the users' end. Whether it's after they upgrade their network in some way, or just disable it because they want to, when they do disable it, you no longer can use DocsDiag with the default parameters.
To get around this, you need to edit docsdiag batch file.

To do this:
Right click on the batch file> Click Edit> Change the parameters to
jview /cp docsdiag.jar docsdiag -community uuu9xzr5
It should work after that! Good luck!
There has been reports that this doesn't work with majority of RCA modems.
