For information see the BellSouth Email Configuration Site. The BellSouth POP and SMTP email server address is mail.bellsouth.net.
Note: Your email password can/may be different from your standard FastAccess login password. Also, unlike having to log into FastAccess, your email log in does not require "@bellsouth.net" after the username. To change your email password check here.
Note: BellSouth has changed the format of the email server address. In the past, the server address contained a three letter city code (i.e. mail.atl.bellsouth.net or mail.mia.bellsouth.net etc.). This code was dropped in mid 2001, however BellSouth continues to send out a welcome email that shows the old format. We are confident that some day they will correct their email.
If you experience any problems with your email, check your email client to verify that you are not using the old address format.
