How do I change my CD key?

First open up regedit, to do this go to the start menu, click "Run", next type in "regedit" and press enter. Next go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Half-Life\Settings and double click on "Key", change the value that's in the box. After that go to file than exit. Reboot your machine and you are set.

its not working i cant see any key folder to be clicked on

im using vista as operative system, i cant find "Key". (Standard), DELV, io, User Token 2 and User Token 3 are the onlyones. Email me at CrazyGunS092@live.se I'd realy appreciate some help. :)
