How do I remove unwanted entries from the login dialog drop down box?

Specific to XP:

Go to Control Panel, User Accounts, Click on the currently logged-in user, on the left side of the dialog click "Manage My Network Passwords". This will bring up the Stored Usernames and Passwords dialog, where you can delete the unwanted entries.

Repeat for other Windows XP user accounts as desired.
