What are the problematic corruptible "Naughty Nine" Preference Files of the Classic Mac OS ? (Specifically, 7.5.5 through 9.2.2 in this case scenario for crashes, bombs & unexpected quits) In the Preference Folder in the System Folder: Apple Menu Options ASLM Control Strip Date and Time File Exchange Mac OS Sound System TSM Move them to the trash but do not delete; restart first, then when reboot finishes, delete. A "tenth" preference would be "Finder" Preferences, which is also a well-known preference file susceptible to corruption. One could trash this one also. See below link for more specific help and information: »www.tsmacs.org/tips.html Scroll down to "For Mac OS 7.5.5 through 9.2.2"
