How to set up Zone Alarm Pro

This was set up using 4.0.146.029.  Verified same procedure works on 5.5.062.004.

*CAUTION*
Older versions of Zone Alarm are known to cause Rollback Inconsistencies!

There are dozens of documented cases of Zone Alarm blocking DC++ even though it's been properly allowed. The only fix is to uninstall ZA!!

•After installing Zone Alarm, start up DC++.  Immediately, you will see a similar dialog with the following:

    * Check Remember this answer the next time I use this program

•Following that dialog, you will see another:

    * Check Remember this answer the next time I use this program

•That's it! DC++ should now be set up!

•If you're still having problems, then double check the programs security settings.   Go to Program Control -> Programs and find DC++.

Make sure DC++ has green check marks in Access Trusted / Internet and Server Trusted / Internet.

got feedback?
doesn't work. Or at least not when you're behind a router as well. Got portforwarding for dc++ open, dc++ on allow in zonealarm, but it still doesn't recognize me as being active. On passive I enjoy all the fun of not being able to download from passive users, which as an op is kinda annoying during a filelistchech.
