If you have an external storage card or drive, you can organize your My Documents folder(s) to the fullest and free up your internal memory for running applications.
In the root of your storage card or drive
, create a "My Documents" folder. Create handy subfolders within it such as "Mpeg Files," "PDF Files,""Zip Files," "Image Files," etc. Please note that any
application (from MS Reader to Windows Media Player) that looks for files will find any
files in main memory and
the storage card or drive as long as they are in a My Documents folder or its subfolders. You can move all
the files from the My Documents in the main memory to the My Documents folder(s) on your storage media, freeing up megabytes of system RAM.
