5.0 Yahoo Issues

From Outlook Express select File->Export->Address Book. Choose "Text File (Comma Separated Values)" Click export and save it somewhere logical. Other programs have similar instructions for exporting the address book. Then from the web-based e-mail page click on Address Book. Click Address Options and then Import/Export. Find the file you just exported from your program and then import it. You are now ready to rock n' roll.

Log into »mail.yahoo.com with your SBC/Yahoo! account. Click on Mail Options on the right. Under Management click on the "POP access and forwarding" link. Put a check in Forwarding and type in the e-mail address that you want your e-mail forwarded to.

First of all your other e-mail address must support pop access. Log into »mail.yahoo.com with your SBC/Yahoo! account. On the right click on Mail Options. Under Management click on the "Mail Accounts" link. Click the Add button. Fill in the fields with the correct information. Now above your inbox there will be link with the name of the account you created. If you click on that it will download your e-mail to the inbox.

The most current versions of the AT&T software are accessible from your AT&T Yahoo portal page along with Tutorials.

To access the AT&T Yahoo Software Center. Log into your AT&T Yahoo portal page,
use the "More" link on the right side of your portal page or use the Member Center link..... on the Member Center page look for the "Get AT&T Yahoo! Software" link it will open the AT&T Yahoo Software Center page.
The AT&T Yahoo! Uninstall Manager will be installed with any software and can be found in the Program folder

If you want to create a new connection to SBC/Yahoo DSL, please do the following:

Users of Windows previous to XP:
Click Start->Programs->Efficient Networks->Enternet 300->Enternet 300. Drag DSL Connection to your desktop. It will look like it didn't take but if you look there is a blue 'e' similar to the Internet Explorer 'e'. Now click Connections->Settings and put a check mark in the first 2 boxes if you want it to connect automatically when you boot up your computer.

Windows XP users:
Click Start->Control Panel. On the left if it says "Switch to Classic View" then click on that. Now open up Network Connections. In here there should be an icon named DSL Connection. If not there should be some kind of icon under the Broadband Section. Right-click on it and choose create shortcut. Say Yes to the error and now on your desktop there should be an icon the says "Shortcut to DSL Connection" or whatever the name of the icon was. This is what will connect you to the internet.

The most likely cause is that you don't have any e-mail in your Inbox. To test this, send an e-mail to the address for your Inbox, then update the Mail Preview using the "Update" or "Refresh" link provided.
