This forum is for discussing everything about Atlanta. Anything from transportation, sports, weather, special events, and everything in between, can be discussed in here. It doesn't matter if you live here or in the surrounding area.

You may post your birthday up here. The birthday list can be viewed here.

All birthdays will be added to the list as soon as we see them.

If you discover that your birthday has been removed and wish to be re-added to the list, simply post back into the birthday list thread. Errors do happen and they will be corrected as soon as possible.

The photo album for the Atlanta board can be found here. Individual pictures as well as pictures of Atlanta are welcome to be posted. Other material is subject to removal.

Please limit pictures to a maximum of 3 pictures per person. Feel free to IM skj if you want a picture removed.

To submit news, simply follow this link. Most news items should go up into the Forum News instead of a thread now to keep the board organized.

News submissions should be of material relevant to Atlanta. They must include the article title, the first few lines of the article with author, and a link to the article. Do not copy and paste the full article into the submission box. Copyright rules apply.

All news submissions are subject to moderation before they will be displayed.

Remember, news articles are open for debate in the Forum News section by clicking on the title of the article and clicking "Post!" underneath the article you wish to comment on.

Depending on what type of offense you are charged with there are likely many different options for you. We have decided that discussions regarding, "I got a speeding/parking/some type of ticket" or "I just got a traffic summons or points on my license", or "My license has expired/I have DMV questions", would be much better suited for a licensed professional rather than in our forum.

We find that forum discussions on these issues are generally of no benefit to you and usually end up causing more harm than good. We would much rather see you get the professional help you need instead of potentially poor or misleading advice.

If you are just curious to see what options may be available we suggest that you try "Googling" using key words that describe your offense such as "beat speeding/parking ticket" or "beat reckless driving ticket", "Points or DMV Issues", or "driving with expired license". You may also use the forum search feature to reference older threads on speeding and other related discussions.

A good place to check for things happening around Atlanta is to subscribe to armada magazine or USA Entertainment. This is typically for young professionals.
