6. Paint Shop Pro

It only supports the most basic ICO (Icon) file, simply a bitmap file that has been renamed
to ICO to be used as an icon.

After creating the Bitmap file choose File > Save As and change the Save As Type to WINDOWS or OS/2 BITMAP (*.bmp). Then change the .bmp at the end of the file name to .ico and click Save.

To convert Version 5 or 6 Picture Tubes into Paint Shop Pro 8 compatible Picture Tubes, Visit here to download the Tube Converter. This Picture Tube converter is the same converter supplied with Version 7 and works with Version 8.

Here's how to use the Tube Converter on your Paint Shop Pro 5* or 6 Tubes:

1. Double click tubeconverter.exe to begin the process.

2. The first field represents the location of your current Paint Shop Pro 5 or 6 Picture Tube folder. Click the Browse button and point the path to the location of your Paint Shop Pro 5 or 6 Picture Tube folder. Click OK to add this path to the first field.
