Aiptek has a good affordable line of tablets.

Why use a graphics tablet versus a standard mouse/trackball? (#5501)
The main advantage to a tablet is the ease and less strain on the wrist doing repetitive tasks.
Also, you can do precise work with a tablet that would be very difficult to do with a mouse/trackball.
