(back)There really is no single forum that covers Digital Video at this time. Discussions related to this topic might be found in three different forums:

• For connecting DV to your computer the Computer Hardware Help Forum would be a good place to start.

For processing your video once uploaded to your computer the

• Software Forums would be your best bet.

(back)The preferred method is using IEEE 1394b technology also commonly known as Firewire.

OHCI-compliant 1394/FireWire card.
