For charter.net accounts you can log into your Charter webspace via a FTP client.

FTP Server: webpages.charter.net
Username: yourusername
Password: yourpassword
Port: 21

In most cases you can do so via your browser using this format.
ftp://username:password@webpages.charter.net

For additional info and discussion see this thread.

Serverside includes are not allowed on the Charter web servers. Very little active content is allowed on the business servers, let alone residential servers.

When you set up your Charter Web Space account, you set your username and password. If you have forgotten your password, you can log into your account section at »charter.com

At which point you'll be able to reset your password for your personal webspace if needed.
