The I.P. Address is required for certain interactive services such as Video On Demand. If you are having trouble with these services, check to see if your box has pulled an IP by viewing the diagnostic screen d14. If it hasn't or you can't obtain video on demand services, contact Comcast technical support at 1-800-COMCAST

Firmware version 9.15 addresses many lockup issues and is currently being deployed. Some have reported that some lockup/delay issues persist.
