But that would be indecorous--after all, this is a FAQ.
There's no easy answer to controlling viruses and other vermin waste products. Everything changes much too quickly. A few obvious words of advice:
•Use a firewall. •Use a virus checker. •Keep your browser and operating system up-to-date. •Use more than one checking system. No single piece of software catches everything.
It's good to occasionally use one of the online checkers as a backup to your installed one. They are kept current. Here are a few:
