1. General Info

·Is it available to me?
·What do I get with DSLR Mail?
·What about limits?
·Maximum File Size?
·What about Webmail?
·What if I go over my allowed limits?
·Can I contribute to this FAQ?
·How do I cancel my DSLR email account?
Since its inception, DSLR Mail has been in the beta stage. A limit was set on how many could participate, (currently 2200) and that limit has been reached. From time to time dead accounts are purged and/or the limit is raised to allow new users, so stay tuned.

Maximum message size is 10mb.

Since messages come encoded, this does not equate to maximum attachment size, it might be less. But since you can zip attachments, you maybe able to send more.

Webmail, the ability to send/receive your email from the DSLR account on the web, is not yet available, although it is listed as one of your choices. It is being considered and will be initiated if practical.

----------

In the meantime, you can use the free www.mail2web.com by clicking on the Advanced Login link on the main page, specifying mail.dslr.net as the Server Name, xxxx@dslr.net as the User Id and xxxxx as the password.

By all means, please do.

Simply click on I would like to suggest a question, and maybe also answer it, and add it to this FAQ and submit your entry. It is most helpful if you include a question and answer, but feel free to submit your question alone, if it is something that will apply to many users. Otherwise, please ask in the forum.

In the main mail page: »/mail
Click on the "EDIT" button associated with your main, POP3 account. On the next page, delete that mailbox. Doing so should close your mail account.
