The decision to lock a thread is not treated lightly by moderators and the reasoning is NOT OPEN FOR DISCUSSION. It's usually pretty obvious if you've read the forum guidelines.
The Original Member posting the Deal can request the Thread be locked when the Deal is over or the terms/conditions have changed.
Consider a Locked Thread to mean a Deal is over.

There will be absolutely NO thread crapping. If someone posts a Hot Deal for a Canon scanner, thou shalt not chime in with
"HP is better" nor post that the deal isn't good.
Also, comparing item prices to Ebay will not be tolerated in a thread. Just because you think you can buy it for $.05 doesn't mean the quality's the same, the product is identical, or that it's even working.
If you have real issue with the Deal IM the Forum Hosts

Our "BUMP" rule here is simple
"NO"- If your offer isnt one that others are interested in then you can withdraw it.
- In order to maintain the integrity of the offer no revised offers are allowed.
- If you need to change it you will have to start a new one and close the first one.
- If you try to change the offer in later posts you will find the Thread Locked/Deleted and your ability to make a new one here may be Limited.

No, we simply provide a place where buyers and sellers can find each other. Making sure you get a fair deal is up to you. Most transactions occur without a hitch; there will be some problems now and then, so beware and be informed.
•In no way does BBR endorse, support, sponsor, take benefit or otherwise become any part of a deal offered here.
