(
back)The decision to lock a thread is not treated lightly by moderators and the reasoning is NOT OPEN FOR DISCUSSION. It's usually pretty obvious if you've read the forum guidelines.
The Original Member posting the Deal can request the Thread be locked when the Deal is over or the terms/conditions have changed.
Consider a Locked Thread to mean a Deal is over.

(
back)There will be absolutely NO thread crapping. If someone posts a Hot Deal for a Canon scanner, thou shalt not chime in with
"HP is better" nor post that the deal isn't good.
Also, comparing item prices to Ebay will not be tolerated in a thread. Just because you think you can buy it for $.05 doesn't mean the quality's the same, the product is identical, or that it's even working.
If you have real issue with the Deal IM the Forum Hosts

back)Our "BUMP" rule here is simple
"NO"- If your offer isnt one that others are interested in then you can withdraw it.
- In order to maintain the integrity of the offer no revised offers are allowed.
- If you need to change it you will have to start a new one and close the first one.
- If you try to change the offer in later posts you will find the Thread Locked/Deleted and your ability to make a new one here may be Limited.

(
back)No, we simply provide a place where buyers and sellers can find each other. Making sure you get a fair deal is up to you. Most transactions occur without a hitch; there will be some problems now and then, so beware and be informed.
•In no way does BBR endorse, support, sponsor, take benefit or otherwise become any part of a deal offered here.

10.0 Types of Offers
(
back)At this time only
Tangible Goods are acceptable from established businesses and Limited Services. See the Service FAQ for more Info
"Tangible means real physical items". For example:
Good Offer: Computer store offers 10% to BBR members
Good Offer: 15% off all Sporting goods on our website for BBR members
Bad Offer: I have 500 left shoes in my basement, 5 bucks each
Bad Offer: Wanna buy a computer I have 5 of them. Run real gooood.
Also, items should be new and in no quantity smaller than 10 total. Used/refurbed items can be offered, but each case will be reviewed carefully. Items that are cross sold on other sites (Ebay, etc) are allowed, however, there must be an obvious savings offered.
Posts will only be accepted from established memebers w/ a minimum 100 post count (valid posts, not just garbage). New accounts and any post with an account under 100 will be rejected.
Offers made by members with negative For Sale reviews will not be allowed.
Most important remember, this is not a Garage Sale. If you want to sell personal goods we have a very nice For Sale Forum. This forum is primarily for members who also run their own business and want to share with the community.

(
back)Shipping should not be used to recover any revenue, this is not ebay and we don't expect to see a $.25 part with $7.95 shipping. If we feel that the shipping prices are unfair we will reject the post.
In other words, be fair and don't overcharge.

(
back)We try to make sure before we allow a new post that the Deal being offered is real, from a valid Business or Company and member, BUT we are not able to validate all the deals.
You should use common sense and make sure before you finalize any deal.
As always if you have a problem keep it in IM and do let us know also by IM.
ALL DEALS ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK
