2.0 Thunderbird

·What is Thunderbird?
·How can I get my contacts to display on the sidebar like in Outlook Express?
·How do I get Thunderbird to work with SSL POP3 e-mail?

Mozilla Thunderbird is a stand-alone email client that is available here.

Thunderbird is based on Mozilla Mail and has the same interface and junk mail control however it is Stand-Alone program.

Seamonkey or Firefox do not need to be installed to use Thunderbird.

user name: as given by your provider
make sure use secure connection (ssl) is checked.

For sending e-mail : go: tools-> account settings->outgoing server (smtp)
server name: as given by your provider
port: 25
use name and password: checked (if required by your ISP)
user name: as given by your provider
use secure connection : TLS

It may ask you for your password the first time, you can leave it like that, or use the optional remember password.
