Work unit

A work unit is the packet of data sent to your computer to be analyzed. This term is also used when referring to your stats.

Angle Range. Generally, the higher the AR the faster it will be processed, and generally, the lower the AR the longer it takes to process a WU. You can find the AR by clicking on the "Work Unit" tab of SETISpy.

Command line interface

It is the version of SETI@Home for linux that was ported to Windows. It crunches faster than the GUI version because it does not use your processor to generate graphics for the screensaver.
