There are many times that the Berkeley server goes down. When this happens, you cannot upload any results or download any new WUs. What the team queue does is take place of the SETI server. It downloads a lot of WUs and allows you to download them. It also allows you to upload results when the SETI server is down. When the Berkeley servers are online again, the WUs are uploaded from the Queues and all results are credited to you.

Currently FutureMon , AnArky , The Doctor , and skeebercat operate the official Team Starfire setiqueue servers.
WireHead , cbcalhoun , and B52GUNR have also been recognized as official setiqueue operators but all have since retired.
Team Starfire wishes to extend a big THANKS to all past and present Team Starfire setiqueue operaters for their gracious donation of time, bandwidth, and equipment . These fine Team Starfire standouts have provided all team members with an invaluable service with their ability to keep us crunchin' during the inevitable Berkeley outages. Thanks!!

If you are using the Queue you risk exposing you IP address and host name. It is recommended that you use the queue on a machine behind a firewall or router. You also risk exposing you E-mail address. To fix that problem follow this graphic, and go to this link. It generally takes 1 or 2 days for it to stop showing.

You can look at the Team Cache Availability Charts.
Green means alive and kicking, blue means offline, nothing at all means that line monitoring for the Team Queues are having some problems.

Q: I cannot connect to any of the public SetiQueue's using port 5517 because my company firewall blocks nearly everything. I can surf the web normally and seti clients can connect normally direct to Berkeley.
A: Web browsers and Seti clients normally use port 80. Find a public queue that will accept proxy connections on port 80 and you will be good to go!

If you just started it will show up your ID number. It will also change your User_info.sah file. This is nothing to worry about. When it turns your results into Berkely it should put your username in place of the number. It should also restore your User_info.sah file.

This link will show you all the queues, and their current cache of WU's each:
Queue I: Queues on Team Cache I Queue II: Queues on Team Cache II Queue III: Queues on Team Cache III Queue IV: Queues on Team Cache IV Queue V: Queues on Team Cache V Queue VI: Queues on Team Cache VI Queue VII: Queues on Team Cache VII
This link will show you all the clients. If you click on the WU Detail link at the bottom it will give you individual client statistics for all the clients:
Queue I: Clients on Team Cache I Queue II: Clients on Team Cache II Queue III: Clients on Team Cache III Queue IV: Clients on Team Cache IV Queue V: Clients on Team Cache V Queue VI: Clients on Team Cache VI Queue VII: Clients on Team Cache VII
Perhaps this is the most important link of all. It will show what WU's have been completed by any client, which are waiting to be sent to Berkeley. The number of WU's in this display would not be credited to your WU count until they are sent up. Sometimes you know you've completed x WU's but your stats don't show the same number. Check in here to see if there's any you need to account for:
Queue I: Results on Team Cache I Queue II: Results on Team Cache II Queue III: Results on Team Cache III Queue IV: Results on Team Cache IV Queue V: Results on Team Cache V Queue VI: Results on Team Cache VI Queue VII: Results on Team Cache VII
