1 Guidelines

Yes, there are. They are here.

Here are some more official forum rules:

This forum is for discussing everything about the SF Bay Area and surrounding "NorCal" area. Anything from transportation, sports, weather, special events, and everything in between, can be discussed in here. It doesn't matter if you live in the Bay Area or the surrounding area. Anyone is welcome to join in on the discussions! Political/religion topics are suited for other forums, period. However, almost anything else goes as long as it is respectful, responsible, considerate, and civilized. As in, 'agree to disagree' with someone who's opinion is different than yours! Please show respect for others' opinions.

Many of our regular posters are from the SF Bay Area, or are from nearby places in Northern California. If you are from, say, Chicago, and you have something to say that is relevant to the SF Bay Area, then feel free to post it in this forum! We by no means would restrict the usage of this forum to just "NorCal" people.

This forum serves as a source for local news, and in some cases, opinion. The water's warm, come on in!

Unless you are looking for answers from anonymous posters, there is an easy way to find out the answer to this question.

Follow this link to the DSLR/BBR "Who" page:
http://www.dslreports.com/who

Next, type in your zipcode or the desired city zipcode, and search for a location within 5-20 miles of the city you are looking at. This should reveal the members from the desired area, and from there you can contact them via PM to ask them your question.

Depending on what type of offense you are charged with there are likely many different options for you. We have decided that discussions regarding, "I got a speeding/parking ticket" or "I just got a traffic summons", "My license has expired", "I received a violation", "how much are these violations?" - would be much better suited for a licensed professional rather than in our forum.

We find that forum discussions on these issues are generally of no benefit to you and usually end up causing more harm than good. We would much rather see you get the professional help you need instead of potentially poor or misleading advice.

If you are just curious to see what options may be available we suggest that you try Googling using key words that describe your offense such as "beat speeding/parking ticket" or "beat reckless driving ticket", "how much is this ticket" or "driving with expired license". You may also use the forum search feature to reference older threads on speeding, costs and other related discussions.
