Hi, I'm 120 ft. from the dslam, 5.4 m from where our line terminates, which is backfed by a D3 line. I have been told for a fact that fiber is in the ground to that termination point from the 90s, but it hasn't been activated yet. I am frustrated because for 5 years my mom has been told that 1.5 mbs is the only available speed for our area. Since I became an unemployed bioengineer and moved up here to Montana for the last 3 months, I have managed to get speedtests up to 3.1 mbs, but our latency is poor, 300 ms~ (trying to get us on fastpath) and speeds are inconsistent .67-3.1. These are our stats: Line Mode: not defined Data path: interleaved SNR Downstream : 31 dB SNR Upstream : 21 dB Attenuation Downstream : 0.5 dB Attenuation Upstream : 0 dB Power Downstream 8.1 dBm Power Upstream 12.3 dBm Something is certainly wrong here, correct? Clearly my mom has been lied to for 5 years and centurylink has neglected maitenence, I got them to upgrade our dslam with a new shelf and adsl2+ card, and a technician is coming out tomorrow to see about getting us on fast path, but I want to make sure nothing else is wrong here to know for sure what to make him do! Thank you
