Opening a lot of browser windows at once can create an overwhelming clutter on your desktop. Navigator's tabs give you a convenient alternative to opening pages in new windows and can help you keep your browsing session more organized.

Right-click on a link, and instead of choosing Open in new window, choose Open in new tab. Netscape will load the page in the same browser instance alongside any pages you already have open

To attach a file to an e-mail, begin by opening your e-mail viewing window. To do this, select the icon on the toolbar that looks like a picture of an envelope. From the list of your Netscape e-mail accounts on the left side of your screen, select your active account, and then click on the New Msg button to launch a composition window.

Enter the e-mail address of the recipient, the subject and the text of the message. Next, choose Attach File from the File menu, select the File option, highlight the desired file, then click OK.

The file will appear as an attachment icon in your message composition window. When you're finished, click the Send button.

To download the page behind a hyperlink without actually navigating to that page, position your cursor over the link, right-click, and then select Save Link As.

From the Save As Type drop-down list, select either HTML or plain text format for the saved page
