Is there any way to make Acrobat load faster ? (#8977)
Speed up Acrobat 6

This tweak which is easy to do will improve the load time of Acrobat. Substitute "X" for the drive letter Acrobat is intalled on.

Open "X:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Reader" folder. Or if you have Pro, it's probably in the "X:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Acrobat" folder.

Find the "plug_ins" folder and rename it "plug_ins_disabled".
Create a new folder named "plug_ins".
Copy the following files from "plug_ins_disabled" to "plug_ins"

EWH32.api, printme.api, and search.api

Is there another Freeware option PDF viewer besides Adobe Acrobat? (#12283)
There is a freeware option to the commonly known Adobe Acrobat Reader.
It is the Foxit PDF Reader and yes freeware!

You can find it at the authors site »www.foxitsoftware.com/ along with other PDF related tools.
