I can't get my RWIN changes with DrTCP to stay, is there an alternative? (#6922)
When changing your RWIN settings with DrTCP »/front/drtcp.html , make sure you save your changes before exiting and reboot your computer.

However, if by unforseen circumstance these changes are not reflected, you can do changes to the RWIN value through your registry. Go here »cable-dsl.home.att.net/ for a full step by step guide to do so under the "Increasing TCP Receive Window for Microsoft Windows"

*Please remember to backup your registry settings when doing changes to it.

Where can I get the latest version of Java to run Java applets here at DSLR? (#6986)
To run line, tweak or speed tests properly at the various sites here at DSLR, you would need the Java VM to load and run the Java applets.

Go to Java Sun to download the latest version of Java VM for your web browser.

For others to help me tweak my connection, what info should i give before-hand? (#6988)
If you could provide the answers to these questions then it would help the others understand your setup better thus making it easier for us to help you tweak your Streamyx connection:

- Where in Malaysia are you located?
- How long have you been subscribing to TMNet's Streaymx?
- Have you had any problems with your connection before this?
- What type of "Operating System" are you running?
- What is the type (ethernet or USB) and model of your modem?
- Are you using a router/hub and if so what model?
- What type of dialers are you using?(Raspppoe or Netman-Pro or WinPoet or etc.)
