The Software Forum annual [POLL]'s are for voting and stating that which you use.

Discussions do have their place in the main forum of Software...or Filesharing Forum, Security, etc.

As these [POLLS] are expressly for garnering info for our Software Forum FAQ's - extraneous commentary will be removed.

•If you see no choice for your preferred program, use [OTHER] - and specify what it is you do use..or choose [None]

•If you use something different, kindly let us know what it is. Provide a link if the one in the poll is broken

Guidelines for these topics (in particular) are here:

•Volunteers will choose a category and be assigned a date - then tasked to create a poll listing as many candidates as possible.

•These aren't discussion type threads..or for assistance on programs

•Other questions or commentary will be moved out of the polls to the main forum or removed.

•The results of the poll votes will then be included in the FAQ itself, written by the originator (final edit by the FAQ Editors).

•There will be no editing of [POLL] choices once they are underway.

•The FAQ will include a good description of the winning application along with links to downloads, support, etc.

•For fairness, all of the other contenders should be listed.

*These threads are stickied 4 at a time - to the top of the forum ...(usually for 2 weeks)

This is an excel spreadsheet designed by H2OuUp2 utilized to simplify posting of [POLL]'s.
Following the directions, one would need to input the poll choices by:

Operating System (Column A)
Application Name (Column B)
Website Link/ URL (Column C)

Once the field for these are complete, and you've checked & verified the linkage...
..just copy Column "D" into a new thread w/ the appropriate title
