Preferred Internet Browser - 2009 Member Choice (#16282)
Encarta defines a web browser as "a program used for displaying and viewing pages on the World Wide Web". A browser can also be used to access information provided by Web servers in private networks or content in file systems.

The results are in for our Software Forum 2009 Member Choice Poll on Internet Browsers conducted by MSeng See Profile

We had 448 participants this year, thanks to all who contributed & voted their choice.
Leading the way for our members was again, Mozilla Firefox - which took a whopping 56% of the vote and put it in 1st place.
Coming in 2nd was Microsoft's own Internet Explorer 7 with 15%.
Our 3rd place winner was Opera with 9% of total votes
