What happened to the Sympatico newsgroup servers? (#10515)
In the spring of 2006, Sympatico decided to discontinue its newsgroup service.

Bell has instead arranged a free 1GB/month newsgroup account with Newshosting for all customers. This is actually better than the old Bell newsgroup servers since Sympatico didn't carry any binaries while Newshosting does. However, the NewsHosting account only allows you to read newsgroups; there are no posting privileges.
