Does Sympatico limit or charge for the amount of data transferred? (#6765)
Yes and no. Depending on the contract you agree to, you may or may not be subject to additional charges if you exceed a certain level of data transferred. Will Sympatico suspend my account if I transfer a lot of data? (#9832)
To date, we have no report of a Sympatico customer having their service suspended for using or transferring an "excessive" amount of data. However, we have heard reports that Sympatico *may* call you to confirm what you are doing with your connection if you transfer more than about 150GB a month up or down, just to confirm your computer has not been hijacked by a trojan/virus/spyware/etc. feedback form by MacGyver last modified: 2004-08-02 09:35:55
