What is Rosetta@Home? by Sunny In order to run the Distributed Computing project Rosetta@Home you will first need to download BOINC. by mig The URL for DSLReports.com Team Helix Rosetta@Home is http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/create_account_form.php?teamid=21 by Sunny If you already have the BOINC client installed, go here to join us. by Sunny by sashwa edited by Sunny Team Helix Rosetta@Home Daily Milestones are posted in recognition of members reaching specific intervals in the accumulation of credits/points for Wu's completed, not the number of Wu's completed For Rosetta@Home a milestone is any number where a single digit is followed by all zeroes: 10, 20, 30, ..., 90 100, 200, 300, ..., 900 1000, 2000, 3000, ..., 9000 10000, 20000, 30000, ..., 90000 and so on. The milestones are pulled once a day from xml files generated by the project. The xml data is being processed with Java code written by leibold , that calculates the milestones for Team Helix members. When the project site is unavailable for whatever reason, the milestones cannot be reported on that day. However any such milestones will be reported the next time we get the xml data files from the project. If a person achieves multiple milestones on the same day, only the highest milestone is being reported. Many thanks to our generous volunteers for posting the "milestone" threads, Akasha and signmeuptoo. by mig Our page is here. by Sunny The Rosetta@Home project site is here. by Sunny Here is Unofficial BOINC WIKI. by Sunny During the initial setup, when asked the question: Should Rosetta@home show your computers on its web site?
