Team Helix Rosetta@Home Daily Milestones are posted in recognition of members reaching specific intervals in the accumulation of credits/points for Wu's completed, not the number of Wu's completed
For Rosetta@Home a milestone is any number where a single digit is followed by all zeroes: 10, 20, 30, ..., 90 100, 200, 300, ..., 900 1000, 2000, 3000, ..., 9000 10000, 20000, 30000, ..., 90000 and so on.
The milestones are pulled once a day from xml files generated by the project. The xml data is being processed with Java code written by leibold , that calculates the milestones for Team Helix members. When the project site is unavailable for whatever reason, the milestones cannot be reported on that day. However any such milestones will be reported the next time we get the xml data files from the project.
If a person achieves multiple milestones on the same day, only the highest milestone is being reported.
Many thanks to our generous volunteers for posting the "milestone" threads, Akasha and signmeuptoo .
