The procedure for joining Team Discovery is a part of the Step by step instructions in the next section, 1.4. Here is the direct link.

Make sure that when you are joining on the TSC site, you select Team Discovery.

How can I change teams at TSC? (#3824)
Go to the "My Team" page on the TSC site. Once there, you should see a "Change" button. Click that, and follow the prompts to change to Team Discovery.
