There are many airports located over the UK both on the mainland and the various islands.

The three main Scottish airports are operated by BAA and can be found in:-

• Glasgow
  
• Edinburgh
  
• Aberdeen

The other main airport operator in Scotland is the Highlands and Islands Airport Ltd who operate 10 smaller airport terminals in various locations and of which can be found here.

Traveline Scotland also provides links to contact information for all the transport service providers within Scotland should you require to contact them direct.

Tourist literature and information for Scotland can be obtained from the Scottish Tourist Board.

The free "Holidays in Scotland" brochure is available postage free worldwide.

In addition, there are eight different tourist regions in Scotland, each offering free literature. Each region can be accessed on the excellent "Discover Scotland" interactive map, an example of which is shown here
