Simply a modded XBOX is one that can run unsigned code that MS didn't originally intend to run.
This means that you can replace your original dashboard & alter your XBOX in pretty much any way...

(back)If you wish to use S-VIDEO or you just want surround sound to your Xbox via fiber optic.
You will need to purchase the Advanced AV pack... Which runs at around $19.99.
Keep in mind that you will need your own cables.

    2.0 Beyond the Box

    (back)
It is possible with some XBOX games, to have up to 16 human players all connected.

    You will need:

    A router/hub/switch
    More than one xbox
    Long CAT5 patch cables. (4)
    4 TVs

Turn off your router/hub/switch, and hook each xbox into the device.
Have each XBOX on one TV, and then turn the router and consoles on.

Make a system link game in a game of your choice, and have fun!

    1. Rent or buy an xbox live game that has nicknames. Such as Return to castle Wolfenstein.

    2. Change your online nick name & it will be your new system link name.
