Site posting rules apply.
The DSLReport's AT&T forum is a customer information resource for the DSL Internet service. It's a place where users of the AT&T service can ask questions, share ideas, and exchange and gather information, but anyone is welcome in the forum.
There aren't a lot of rules relative to posting in the AT&T DSL Forum.
However, the one that will be referred to most frequently is this:
• Do not get personal!
If someone posts something that irritates you, resist the urge to respond in kind. Doing so only causes the discussion to degenerate and eventually deprives us all of the benefits of a good thread.
When you stoop to return a flame, it puts you in the same light as the poster you're responding to. It is far better to ignore it and move on, or avail yourself of the "hey mod" link and let us take care of it. That's what we're here for.
In most cases, you will be asked nicely to edit your post or to cease the flames. After that, it will be done for you.
Thank you everyone for your cooperation. It makes the forum a much better place.
