If you Currently have a contract that is due for renewal do not accept their
"as a valued customer offer"
My present contract was £19.99 a month, they rang and offered me an 18 month contract for the fantastic price of only £14.99 a month with 3 months free.
Thanks to advice from my sister I played hardball and they came back with an offer for the same package including 3 free months for only £6.99 per month

[ Cable] Retrieval from AOL 8.0 Filing Cabinet

My next-door neighbor uses AOL 8.0 on an "ancient" Sony laptop from 10 years ago. The laptop runs under Windows 98 SE and has a cable internet connection.

My neighbor saved an email message from 10/19/09 to her AOL Filing Cabinet. This email message has a Word document attached to it.

The email is no longer on AOL's email server, either in New Mail or Old Mail. I believe that she previously deleted it from there.

She wants to open the Word document. The AOL software will not allow her to download the document so that she can open it. It will also not allow her to forward the email to me, either, so that I can download and open it for her.

The person who sent her the original email is away on vacation for 3 weeks and can't be reached.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get around this issue?

Any help would be greatly appeciated.

Thank you.
